On Friday, November 10, state lawmakers from the surrounding area were invited to Crystal Valley’s Janesville facility to learn more about ag retail. The event was in partnership with the Minnesota Crop Production Retailers (MCPR) and Crystal Valley. The dialogue and tour provided an educational opportunity for policymakers and an opportunity to discuss regulatory challenges and concerns in ag retail.

Crystal Valley is proud to support the initiative to build a new accessible playground facility at the non-profit daycare center located at the Nicollet Public School. With the help of matching funds from Land O’Lakes and CoBank, a donation of $7,500 was given. 

With the help of matching funds from CoBank, Crystal Valley was able to donate $6,000 to the Crystal Waters Project taking place in Lake Crystal in Blue Earth County and Clear Lake in Brown County.

On April 18th, the Precision Ag team members spent an evening sharing their insight on precision agriculture with Minnesota State University freshman and sophomores. Students were part of the honors program and have been learning about how farmers today are stewarding the land and caring for animals in the agriculture industry in class.

This morning, Crystal Valley employees presented a check for $5,000 to Jackson County Food 4 Kids to help support their mission "to provide meals for food-insecure children in Jackson County on non-school days throughout the school year." With this donation, 14+ kids will have food available to them for an entire year! 

On Tuesday, September 8th, Crystal Valley, South Central College, and Greater Mankato Growth celebrated the long-awaited ribbon cutting of the newly renovated Crystal Valley Agribusiness Lab at South Central College. Crystal Valley donated $132,275 to South Central College's North Mankato Campus Foundation, which covered half of the lab's construction costs, with the other half paid for with bonding funding from the legislature in 2017 for SCC's North Mankato Renovation project.
