Applications to serve on the Board of Directors must be submitted online or to a member of the nominating committee or received at the Crystal Valley main office by 4:30 PM on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. Qualifications for serving as a director on the Crystal Valley board are listed on our website along with the Board of Directors Application. Directors serve three-year terms which begin immediately following the cooperative’s annual meeting.  Gene Meyer - Board Chairman

Your vote matters! Complete your ballot to have your voice heard about the proposed merger between Crystal Valley and New Vision. Ballots must be returned to the Mankato office no later than 8:00 am on Tuesday, October 1st. 

After completion of the merger study, the board of directors of Crystal Valley unanimously determined that a merger with New Vision Co-op is in the best interest of Crystal Valley and we are asking for your vote in favor of this unification. Crystal Valley will hold a Special Meeting to count ballots at 9:00 AM, on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at the cooperative’s main office at 1911 Excel Drive in Mankato.

As part of the proposed merger between Crystal Valley and New Vision Cooperative, a new name will be chosen for the new company. We are asking our customers and employees to submit suggestions, and you could even win $500!

Crystal Valley is excited to announce that the Boards of Directors at Crystal Valley and New Vision Co-op have jointly agreed to explore a possible unification of the farmer-owned cooperatives. The two boards will investigate the potential benefits of merging our organizations to better serve our members and employees into the future.

The Annual Meeting of Crystal Valley was held on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at the cooperative’s main office, 1911 Excel Drive, Mankato, MN. Chairman Dean Sonnabend announced the results of the mail-in ballots for the following business items:  1) approval of the minutes of the January 25, 2023, Annual Meeting; 2) acceptance of the FY2023 Financial Audit Report; and 3) election of two directors to the Crystal Valley Board of Directors.
