Serving Our Customers

Over the last 30 years, the average age of farmers has steadily increased. Half of all current farmers are likely to retire in the next decade, leaving a large gap for the next generation. More recently, I’ve found myself working with families who have two or even three generations at one time to be sure the needs of the customer are met.

As an Energy Salesperson, there are several things I consider when working with multiple generations. In particular, it is the best way to communicate with each customer. In my experience, I’ve noticed I tend to use text messaging, email, and calling cell phones vs. landlines as those seem to have become a thing of the past. Still, some customers prefer we stop by the farm, and I really enjoy this.

As time goes on, you get to know your customers and the best way to keep them updated on energy needs. I appreciate the longevity of these relationships and am proud to have had the opportunity to serve our customers.
